Dr. Jeffrey M. Smith is currently chairman of the Doctor's Speakers Bureau and is an active member of the Professional Speakers of Illinois, the American Association for Therapeutic Humor, the National Speakers Association, and the American Heart Association; and has trained at Chicago's renowned Second City. His studies have included specialized training to teach motivation and successful living. Dr. Smith has been a practicing chiropractor since 1979. He has a B.S. in Human Biology and received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, IL.
Additionally, Dr. Smith has completed 250 hours per year in post-graduate training in the research and development of patient care. His studies have included X-ray, Physiotherapy, and Acupuncture. As a practicing D.C., Dr. Smith has treated over 25,000 people for aches and pains due to stress. He is frequently involved in fundraisers for charities such as Make a Wish Foundation of Illinois, the Greater Chicago Food Depository, Toys for Tots, and Oak Park Food Pantry, and many others. Dr. Smith is also the highly acclaimed author of“Laughing, Living, Loving Your Way to A Stress-Free Life.”
Dr. Amanda Braden grew up very active by being involved in various sports including golf, cheerleading, and rugby. Dr. Braden has had the opportunity to shadow various specialties in surgery including orthopedic, neurosurgery, and ear, nose and throat specialists. During her shadowing experiences, she realized she wanted to prevent people from having to partake in such invasive procedures.
Once she graduated from Indiana University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology, she found her true passion in chiropractic medicine and graduated from the National University of Health Sciences in 2016.
Dr. Braden is certified in 200 hours of Traditional Chinese acupuncture and the technique of dry needling. She also has 250 hours towards the Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists which has taught her natural treatment methods in functional medicine. Dr. Braden is also certified in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation and has taken various seminars on nutrition for athletes. She has a passion in treating children, women’s health issues, and autoimmune diseases.
Dr. Carly Smith is a passionate advocate for Chiropractic, nutrition and health. After being introduced to wellness at Smith Chiropractic in 1997, she quickly found a profound love for chiropractic and natural healing. She received a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Loyola University Chicago in 2000, where she completed her studies on a full scholarship for basketball.
Shortly thereafter, she enrolled in the study of Science and Biology to continue her educational journey through Chiropractic School. She received a Bachelors Degree in Human Biology and a Chiropractic Physicians degree from National University of Health Sciences.
As a practicing Chiropractic Physician, Dr. Carly has enlightened thousands of patients on the benefits of living a healthier lifestyle and
improving the quality of their lives. She has also expanded her reach and influence beyond her practice by offering presentations on the subjects of nutrition, weight loss, stress
management, health, relationships and wellness.
